Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When a post contains affiliate links, this will be clearly noted at the bottom of that post.
NEONDISTRIKT also features a dedicated Shop section. Products primarily come from affiliate websites, though items from other sources may also appear. Product images are only modified to create a transparent background; the products themselves are not altered, and the images remain faithful to the original product.
My Commitment
Every product featured on NEONDISTRIKT, whether in an article or in the Shop, is selected first and foremost based on a set of personal criteria: a minimum rating of 4 stars with a meaningful number of reviews, a fit with the site’s theme, and a preference for products made with recycled or sustainably sourced materials where available. A product is never featured purely because it offers an affiliate commission; the editorial selection always comes first, and an affiliate link is added where one is available.
This also means that, as the site grows, products or brands suggested through partnerships or outreach may occasionally be featured, but only if they genuinely meet these same selection criteria and fit the site’s theme. The same standards apply regardless of how a product was discovered.
Product Disclaimer
While I apply personal selection criteria to every product featured on this site, I am not responsible for the quality, safety, shipping, or availability of any item purchased through affiliate links. Purchases made through affiliate websites are subject to each website’s own terms and conditions. If you experience any issue with a product or order, please contact the relevant retailer’s customer support directly.
Sponsored Content
NEONDISTRIKT does not currently publish sponsored posts or paid partnerships. Should this change in the future, any sponsored content will be clearly and prominently labeled “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” at the top of the post, in compliance with FTC guidelines.
Social Media
As NEONDISTRIKT expands to platforms such as Instagram, the same disclosure standards will apply. Any post containing affiliate links or gifted products will include a clear, visible disclaimer, such as #ad or #affiliate, directly on the post itself, as required by FTC guidelines.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies to function properly. Most of these are essential or functional cookies set automatically by WordPress to support core site features such as navigation and security; these do not require consent and cannot be disabled.
One non-essential cookie is used on this site, related to Google AdSense (see below). This cookie is not required for the site to function and can be refused through the cookie banner.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
NEONDISTRIKT displays ads through Google AdSense. These ads are non-personalized, meaning they are not based on your browsing history or profile. However, Google may still set a small number of cookies for purposes such as measuring ad performance, frequency capping, or fraud prevention. No personal data is used to target ads to you.
Affiliate Cookies
When you click an affiliate link, the related website may place a cookie on your device. This allows the website to track that the visit originated from NEONDISTRIKT, so that a referral fee can be credited if you make a purchase. NEONDISTRIKT has no access to or control over this cookie, and it is governed entirely by each website’s own privacy policy.
